I subscribe to Birch Box, which I love, but the boxes that the samples come in are stacking up. They are actually pretty nice, sturdy boxes, so I haven’t wanted to throw them away, but also have not found a good use for them around the house. So, I thought, why not paint on them and fill them with stuff?
Sort of like a grab bag, but packaged in a painting so you already kinda know what you’re getting-ish. The bottom of each box is turned into a ready-to-hang painting, (the bottoms are more sturdy than the tops) and the box itself will be filled with other stuff… from NoArt merch, to small prints, to original art, mini-sculpies, and/or whatever else I decide to throw in. The two paintings featured in this post are available as of now, but what I’d also like to do is send out mystery paintings. You can even suggest what you would like me to paint, which may or may not happen, but I’ll do what I can! The paintings are 7″ X 5″ (or the opposite if I do portrait orientation) and approx 2″ deep.
