This past weekend we participated in The Pancakes and Booze Art Show in OKC, at the Farmer’s Public Market. This was the second time we have done this show, and had a lot of fun this time around too! Some artists will poo on P&B, because you do pay a small fee per piece, however, this one isn’t just a typical vanity gallery type show. We decided that if we were to put on our own show with this kind of production, and with this many attendees at such an awesome venue, it would cost WAY more than the minimal fee they ask. Having put on like a million art shows ourselves, it is also kinda nice to let someone else handle everything once in a while too. Plus, I mean… it’s fun.
Here’s the piece I finished up for this, and I included two other recent paintings that I had shown previously.
Available here in my Etsy shop.
Here’s a li’l gallery of pics from this year’s event… enjoy!
All in all, it was a good time, and a great chance to show our stuff to people who may not attend, or even know about our usual events.
Up next… actually finishing my duck!
